Catching and throwing has been proven to stimulate the brain, relax tensions and relieve stress which is why the World Youth Organization is very proud to present Catch Counselling to you.
30 minutes of chilled group therapy, throwing a ball back and fourth whilst having the option of discussing any worries or stresses which may help to prevent depression and anxiety. It’s that simple, but regardless of what you wish to share, you’ll have the chance take a break from life’s heavy work load, have fun and meet some new faces along the way.
Through Catch Counselling we engage young people in conversation, improve communication skills, and promote a healthy lifestyle whilst providing a safe place for people to meet, de- stress, play catch and educate people on mental health and coping strategies. If you are located in the heart of Los Angeles and are between the ages of 18-30 then we’d like to invite you to Lake Hollywood Park for an exclusive session of Catch Counselling. (details of directions can be found on Eventbrite)
All you have to do is register here and we’ll be in touch with more information! Find out more about the World Youth Organization and it’s programs in the United States of America here – https://www.worldyo.org/programs/wyo-in-la
Catch Counselling will make 10 sessions available for people to try out the experience. The 30 minute sessions can hold a maximum of 20 people and you will be looked after by our CEO, Kieran Goodwin and assistant Amy Lee.
If you would like to learn more about the program before registering, please email [email protected].
